JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an environmental expert, you will advise our project engineers and supervisors of hydraulic engineering works: dikes, quay walls, jetties, locks, and bridges. You will consult with the project engineers and develop recommendations for dredging or soil processing at the construction sites. You will commission studies from engineering firms, have samples taken, and advise colleagues based on these findings. You will also be involved in soil investigations related to land transfers and historically at-risk sites, and the resulting remediation projects. Furthermore, you will coordinate the preparation of environmental impact assessments and strictly adhere to environmental legislation. You will ensure strict application of this environmental legislation and are willing to participate in further training in this area.PROFILE:You hold a master's degree with extensive knowledge of environmental legislation (Vlarem, Vlarebo, Vlaria, etc.). An affinity for construction is a plus. You are also customer-focused and communicative, and you can thoroughly analyze problems. You can work independently but are also capable of addressing colleagues' questions.
PRACTICAL INFO:The base for carrying out his tasks is our office in Willebroek.An initial service order will be drawn up for this assignment for 1 year: this assignment can be tacitly extended for 3 x 1 year periods.For this assignment, we expect an all-inclusive fee.
