Role Overview
This is a contractor and full-time position. Engagement and payments are handled through Deel. Monthly payment in USD.
The .Net Developer role is responsible for providing ongoing and strategic development tasks for the client\'s applications. The successful candidate will participate in the creation of technical specifications, contribute to project planning activities, and implement best-in-class application solutions in C# and .Net.
Key responsibilities
* Participate in the creation of technical specifications and contribute to project planning activities
* Implement best-in-class application solutions in C# and .Net
* Create technical specs, technical solutions, and development efforts for small to midsize projects
* Work as part of a larger team to understand and implement specifications, communicate technical issues, and actively participate in functional, technical, and code reviews
* Review functional specifications and create technical specifications with input from the development team
* Utilize and create code for reuse. Contribute to writing technical specifications and technical wikis
* Ensure overall development adheres to best-in-class industry standards and guidelines
* Provide code reviews and project planning
* Collaborate with cross-functional development teams
* Work with QA teams to ensure that work products meet desired objectives
Required Qualifications
* Advanced English (mandatory)
* 4+ years of work experience in application development
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Proficiency in C#, .Net, MVC, MS SQL, and understanding of client-server technology, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to interact with individuals at all levels
* Ability to develop efficient, maintainable code under the standards set forth by the technology team
* Proficiency in technical and process problem-solving, as well as root analysis
* Demonstrated ability to create technical design and fully understand software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure
* Strong development experience in the design and implementation of REST APIs and web services
* Experience consuming third-party vendor application APIs
* Knowledge of OOP best practices
* Experience with reusable objects, classes, and components
* Strong working experience performing complex queries using a variety of SQL-based tools and techniques
