The Role Our Evidence team is looking for a student with a curious and analytical mindset who is passionate about social research. You will support the coordination of a large-scale European research project and gain valuable hands-on experience contributing to impactful research that informs public policy and decision-making. We are specifically seeking a student with excellent communication skills who speaks Dutch and English fluently. Responsibilities Coordinate the fieldwork of an international survey in Belgium. Contact schools selected to participate in the research project and secure their involvement. Follow up with schools, answer questions, and facilitate their participation. Assist with document and reporting. Assist the rest of the team with other tasks related to the coordination of the survey. Requirements Currently enrolled in a relevant field (e.g., communication, social science, social psychology, anthropology, sociology, statistics, or data science). Proficient in Dutch (written and spoken). Proficient in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French is an advantage. Prior involvement in school boards, student associations, or similar extracurricular activities is a plus. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Proactive, with strong initiative and ownership of tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an engaging personality. What We Offer A part-time student position for six months starting early January. Estimated 8-16 hours per week (may vary week to week).
