To support their continued growth ambitions, they are currently looking for a Key Account Manager Retail to join their team in Mechelen.
About the job
As Key Account Manager Retail, you will take ownership of a portfolio of brands and customers within the Belgian retail market. You will play a key role in developing long-term partnerships with retailers while driving sustainable growth for the brands you represent.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
6. Negotiating annual agreements, promotional plans and commercial partnerships with key retail customers
7. Identifying growth opportunities by expanding assortments, launching innovations and strengthening in-store visibility
8. Building strong relationships with both strategic retail partners and smaller customers, acting as a trusted business partner
9. Contributing to customer business plans by combining market insights, commercial opportunities and brand objectives
10. Closely monitoring market trends, competition and category developments to proactively identify opportunities
11. Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance and sales support teams to ensure excellent execution
12. Acting as the central point of contact for your customers and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders
About the ideal candidate
13. You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business or a related field
14. You bring solid experience in FMCG retail sales or key account management
15. You have a genuine affinity with food, brands and consumer trends
16. You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English
17. You are commercially driven, confident in negotiations and energised by building strong customer relationships
18. You combine analytical thinking with a hands-on and pragmatic approach
19. You are entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment
