Context As Head of Short‑Term Trading, you will lead the Short‑Term Trading Desk, part of the Business Platform Power Trading & Commercial. Your mission is to maximize the value of ENGIE’s power portfolio in the CWE region (Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands) and capture opportunities in the fast‑moving pan‑European intraday markets. You will manage a team of traders operating 24/7, ensuring performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your Mission Lead and develop the Short‑Term Trading team, fostering a high‑performance culture and continuous learning. Define and implement strategies to maximize portfolio revenues and optimize asset flexibility in intraday markets. Oversee real‑time trading and optimization activities, ensuring alignment with market conditions and business objectives. Drive innovation and automation, collaborating with algorithmic trading teams to enhance efficiency and profitability. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal and external requirements. Contribute to the short‑term optimization chain, aligning trading strategies across different time horizons. Programming knowledge (Python, R, or similar) is a strong asset. Fluent in English; knowledge of French, Dutch, or German is highly valued.
