Freelance Job Description: E‑Plan Designer (12‑Month Contract)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Freelance E‑Plan Designer to support our engineering team on a long‑term project. This assignment runs for 12 months, offering stability while still giving you the independence of freelance work. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality electrical designs and collaborating with internal teams across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and update electrical schematics using E‑Plan software.
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, ideally including IEC 61439.
* Work closely with engineering, production, and project teams to deliver accurate and efficient design packages.
* Support panel building, electrical integration, and system layout activities.
* Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an E‑Plan Designer.
* Strong communication skills; Dutch language skills are desirable but not essential.
* Ideally 5–10 years of experience with IEC 61439 design standards (not essential).
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and electrical documentation.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience in panel building or renewable energy projects.
* Exposure to high‑voltage transformers or related electrical infrastructure.
* Familiarity with industrial automation or power distribution systems.
