Our studio is seeking a General Manager (Head of Studio) to oversee Operational, HR, and Leadership responsibilities. The studio comprises passionate Programmers, Producers, Artists, Animators, Scripters, and QA team members dedicated to delivering exceptional gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
# Manage studio operations effectively.
# Directly manage and motivate team members alongside project managers.
# Mentor and coach staff, oversee onboarding, and support career development.
# Provide HR support and consultation.
# Recruit, interview, and hire based on growth plans.
# Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential studios.
# Maintain team harmony, health, and a vibrant, productive studio environment.
# Promote and embody the Rogueside culture.
# Communicate transparently with stakeholders and managers.
# Oversee submissions for grants and tax credits.
# Coordinate with local authorities to ensure legal compliance.
# Represent the studio at events, conferences, and promotional activities.
# Manage project budgets and revenue forecasts.
# Lead cross-departmental teams including Game Development, Data Analytics, Creative, Marketing, Monetization, Engineering, and Finance.
# Foster collaboration and alignment across teams.
# Serve as the primary liaison between investors and development teams.
# Organize team-building activities to enhance cohesion.

Qualifications:
~5+ years in management within the Games or IT industry.
~ Strong leadership and motivational skills.
~ Excellent communication skills, experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams.
~ Cross-functional expertise in Operations, Business Development, Finance, HR.
~ Passionate about innovative, engaging games and industry trends.
~ Experience in project management, coaching, and delivery.
~ Outgoing personality with relationship-building skills.
~ Creative problem-solver with multiple solution ideas.
~ Team player committed to transparency and humility.
~ Experience with international teams.
~ Understanding of game development cycles.
~ Player and People-focused mindset.
~ Decisive and adaptable.
~ Excellent English communication skills.

Pluses:
Proficiency in Dutch or French.
Genuine passion for games.
HR experience.
Experience with international companies.
