Our client, a primary supplier to NATO, is seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to support mission-critical cloud infrastructure in a highly secure, enterprise environment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to international defence and security operations by ensuring the performance, resilience, and security of modern Microsoft cloud platforms.
As a Cloud Administrator, you will manage and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure services, ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence across business-critical systems governed by strict SLAs.
Key responsibilities
Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive)
Manage Microsoft Entra ID (identities, groups, RBAC, conditional access)
Operate Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance, application deployment)
Support Azure core services and application lifecycle management
Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Maintain operational documentation and standard procedures
Participate in change management, risk, and impact assessments
Support backup, recovery, and resiliency planning for cloud workload
Enforce least-privilege access and zero-trust principles
Support MFA, device-based access controls, and security baselines
Apply cloud security best practices across identity, EndPoint, logging, and auditing environments
Required skills & experience
3-5+ years' experience in cloud administration or cloud engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune
Solid understanding of Azure core services
Experience supporting business-critical systems with defined SLAs
Demonstrated incident handling and problem resolution capability
PowerShell scripting knowledge
Collaborative, team-oriented, and delivery-focused mindset
