As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing financial information (actuals, budget, forecast, to enable accurate and relevant regular monitoring of the financial statements covering non-operational entities established in Belgium (Group HQ, CEMEA HQ). You will prepare timely financial analyses on ad-hoc topics/projects. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of financial IT tools.
Under the supervision of the Head of Finance Western countries, your role will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for the analytical management of non-operational entities based in Belgium (HQ CEMEA and HQ Group).
2. You will collect, prepare, and analyze financial information (actuals, budget, forecast, to enable accurate and relevant monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring.
3. You will consolidate and challenge departmental budgets into the overall CEMEA HQ and Group HQ budget.
4. You will be responsible for the calculation and review of the HQ Group’s management fees, as well as communication with all group entities.
5. You prepare timely financial analyses and support the development and implementation of financial IT tools (SAP, Tagetik, Power BI,.
6. You enter budget data reporting into SAP and Tagetik (consolidation tool)
7. You will provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Finance Western countries on specific financial projects
8. You will actively support the Head of Finance Western countries, the CEMEA Controlling Director, and the VP Finance CEMEA in preparing reports and conducting analyses.
9. You will support the implementation of strategic projects within the Finance department.
Minimum skills & qualification
10. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a global or multinational company.
11. You have general computer skills, proficiency in MS Office, and SAP knowledge is a plus.
12. You demonstrate strong organizational and analytical abilities.
13. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
14. You are comfortable working independently and autonomously.
15. You easily build connections with stakeholders.
16. You are solution oriented.
17. You are fluent in French and English.
