Job Description
With around 80 team members, our growing Brussels’ office is focused on the delivery of integrated European Affairs and Communications support to its clients across a broad range of sectors.
Our Brussels office opened in 2017, and we are currently looking to strengthen our team with a Research Executive for a 6-month, paid internship. The role is focused on working primarily within the healthcare sector, with the opportunity to work across other business areas depending on evolving client needs.

The position
In particular, the role entails:
1. Following EU developments and undertaking initial research on policy issues on behalf of clients;
2. Supporting the team with legislative, regulatory and press monitoring;
3. Helping to organize and execute events;
4. Taking an active role in client teams, suggesting improvements for servicing of clients with regards to research;
5. Participating at external events relevant to day-to-day work and seeking to build relationships with external actors at an appropriate level;
6. Building competence at undertaking public affairs tasks on behalf of clients.
Skills & Requirements
Our ideal candidate for this position will have the following profile:
7. Experience working on European Affairs with, or in the EU institutions, trade associations, corporates, or public affairs consultancy;
8. Master in relevant fields, e.g., EU Affairs, IR, law, political science;
9. Interest and preferably some content knowledge of healthcare policy;
10. An enthusiasm for conducting public affairs and communications in all its forms, from direct outreach to social media engagement;
11. Interest in helping to organise and manage events;
12. Full professional proficiency in English, with working knowledge of French or another EU official language.
13. A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.
14. An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.
