This is a backend-focused role where you'll work on scalable systems, optimise performance-critical services, and increasingly integrate AI-driven enhancements into the platform.
You'll play a key role in improving system efficiency by analysing and leveraging machine learning models, helping automate decision-making, optimise workloads, and enhance overall platform intelligence.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using modern C++Work closely with data/AI teams to integrate machine learning models into production systemsCollaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud deploymentsTech Stack:Languages: C++ (modern standards), some Python exposure beneficialBackend: Cloud/DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelinesData/AI (exposure beneficial): Strong experience in C++ backend developmentSolid understanding of system design, concurrency, and performance optimisationExperience building scalable backend systems or SaaS platformsFamiliarity with cloud environments and containerised deploymentsCollaborative team environment based near Ghent with hybrid flexibilityStrong engineering culture focused on quality and innovation
