We are looking for a Head of Belgium Technical Services who is vision‑driven, solution‑oriented and an inspiring leader to join our BelTech team, based at our Braine campus in Belgium.
About the role
You will lead Belgium Technical Services to ensure all equipment, infrastructure and utilities reach their expected performance levels. You will oversee GxP/non‑GxP maintenance, automation, utilities, calibration, energy management, sustainability and integration of assets linked to new product launches. You will define the strategy, manage investments and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate closely with, engineering, manufacturing, development, lab, utilities and facilities teams. You will work with internal clients, Business Units, and executive governance bodies such as investment committees. You will lead and develop the BelTech teams, ensuring the right workforce, capabilities and a supportive working environment.
What you will do
* Define and deploy technical services strategy across Belgian sites
* Ensure equipment performance via predictive, preventive, corrective maintenance
* Manage short‑, mid‑ and long‑term investments aligned to site master plans
* Oversee utilities, automation, calibration and facility hard services
* Establish governance structures for projects, risks, people and operations
* Ensure compliance with legal, GxP, safety and sustainability requirements

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
* 20+ years of experience in maintenance activities (including 10+ years in a pharmaceutical environment)
* Knowledge of utilities, automation, facilities, asset management
* Strong leadership and people development skills
* Excellent stakeholders management, listening skills and assertiveness
* Excellent communication across diverse stakeholders
* Ability to build, implement and monitor strategic plans
* Knowledge of French and English (written and spoken)
