Job Description
The role of the Tax & Accounting Manager EMEA is a vital part of our organization. This position plays a key role in overseeing monthly actual reporting, financial compliance, tax, and transactional accounting operations across multiple countries from the Shared Service Center in Leuven.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assure accurate daily transactional accounting, responsible for the monthly financial closings (P&L/BS) and monthly uploads of the actuals in the consolidation tool.
- Manage weekly/monthly payments, maintain global treasury tool, credit & collection and optimizations projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of annual accounts, corporate taxes, VAT, and other indirect taxes across different countries.
- Manage intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with global tax frameworks and be responsible for the local transfer pricing files.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure the company adapts to new regulations.
- Work closely with finance team, external auditors, and tax authorities to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in SAP is mandatory.
- Dutch (mother tongue) is required, English (business language) is also necessary.
- The ideal candidate should have a roll-up sleeves mentality, hands-on experience, and high people management skills.
- A minimum of 12 years' experience is required.
- Ability to make independent decisions within accounting & tax area.

Requirements:
- Year-End travel within EMEA and ad-hoc/occasional travel during the year (average 1 a month).
