The Role
Wikitoro, a leading resource for eToro users, is looking for a Fact Checker with extensive knowledge of the platform and direct trading experience. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our content by thoroughly reviewing data, verifying claims, and referencing authoritative sources. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of eToro’s trading tools, market features, and financial concepts to maintain high-quality, trustworthy information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and validate data, statistics, and trading-related information.
* Cross-check content using multiple reliable sources to confirm accuracy.
* Identify and correct factual inconsistencies, misleading claims, or errors.
* Work with writers and editors to enhance the reliability of published material.
* Keep detailed records of fact-checking activities and sources.
* Stay updated on eToro’s latest features, policies, and market changes.
Hands-on eToro trading experience is required.
Ideal Profile
* You have at least 2 years experience within a Content Marketing or Executive Assistant / Virtual Assistant role, ideally within the Financial Services industry.
* You have the ability to develop engaging content for a wide range of audiences.
* You are a creative marketing professional, preferably with a strong content creation and writing background.
* You are organised and have good interpersonal skills.
* You can work with minimal supervision and multi-task effectively.
* You have good computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
* Experience within would be a strong advantage.
* You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
* You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
* You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
