The main mission of the Software Asset Manager is to conduct software compliance inventories within his/her scope of responsibility to ensure that software tools are used in accordance with the commitments made in the contracts signed with publishers. Its mission meets the following objectives
1. Take charge of software inventories
2. Produce compliance reports and monitor compliance plans
3. Support Purchasing during contract negotiations
4. Support operational teams
5. Participate in the continuous improvement of the Software Asset Management process
6. Study optimizations of uses and costs
In charge of software inventories
7. Define, communicate and prepare inventory guides and organize kick-off meetings with relays within entities (operational correspondents in technical teams)
8. Master the contractual databases and metrics of the publishers in its scope
9. Support the operational contacts of the entities on the theme of licensing rules and the format of the expected data
10. Coordinate the feedback of operational contacts ensuring compliance is met
Produce compliance reports and monitor compliance plans
11. Consolidate, synchronize and reconcile inventory data from multiple sources
12. Produce compliance reports and share them with appropriate interlocutors
13. Analyze the financial and contractual impact of possible non-conformities
14. Ask entities for their compliance recovery plan and monitor their implementation
15. Formalize and escalate Management alerts
Provide support to Purchasing during contract negotiations
16. Assist Purchasing in any software activity for contracts within its scope
17. Provide recommendations for the purchase of licenses
18. In support of Purchasing, contribute to the development of software contracts on the definition of metrics and clauses related to licenses
Accompany teams operational
19. Support operational teams in the implementation and use of software in order to optimize usage costs in accordance with contracts
20. Participate in projects to anticipate possible software impacts
Participate in the continuous improvement of the Software Asset Management process
21. Contribute to the improvement of the quality of inventory data
22. Exchange on good practices with peers
23. Propose evolutions for a better Control of risks, expenses and compliance
You have the following skills
Technical Experience
24. Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
25. Expertise of licensing practices and metrics used by leading vendors
26. Mastery of software discovery tools
27. Advanced level in data extraction, transformation and manipulation (Excel)
28. Advanced level in data analysis and reporting (Excel) · Knowledge of SharePoint to collect, save and organize data and documents
29. Experience in ITSM tools and Software Asset Management
30. Risk monitoring
31. Audit trail/follow-up
32. IT infrastructure
33. Knowledge of asset management
34. Ability to define relevant performance indicators
35. Ability to manage a project

Votre profil
42. You have at least 5 years of professional experiences in IT
43. If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
