Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Building Management Software Engineer Fire & Security. In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimize advanced software solutions that make buildings safer, smarter, and more efficient.
You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to integrate fire and security systems into intelligent infrastructures, contributing to projects that enhance sustainability, comfort, and safety.
Tasks:
* From project start to delivery, you are the central point of contact for the Building Management System (BMS).
* You ensure an optimal and user-friendly experience for our customers by translating their needs into a well-functioning BMS.
* You implement the BMS by:
* Sizing and installing the software package.
* Performing integrations with subsystems.
* Creating management views and granting user access.
* You work closely with the project manager, subsystem colleagues, and technical support.
* After delivery, you remain involved: performing upgrades, installing security patches, and migrating systems to new technologies.
* You contribute to defining standards and share knowledge within the team
Your skills
* At least a bachelor in a technical degree
* Affinity with software, applications, and ICT: servers, networks, virtualization, redundancy, and backup are familiar to you.
* Customer-oriented, patient, and stress-resistant.
* Knowledge of building systems (fire safety, security, HVAC) is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French.
