About the role
* Optimizing logistics performance across the EMEA region is a crucial task that requires a skilled professional.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Analysis (30%): Monitor logistics invoices and ensure alignment with contractual agreements, flag and investigate budget deviations to support cost control.
* Supplier & Shipping Team Support (40%): Act as the go-to contact for logistics suppliers and internal shipping teams, participate in governance meetings and identify process gaps through data analysis.
* Strategic Analysis (30%): Provide insights to support logistics network decisions and annual planning, assist in preparing training materials for the shipping team.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations analysis.
* Proven ability to manage complex logistics processes and optimize supply chain performance.
* Proficiency in ERP (ideally SAP) and data tools.
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
* Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of ISO and JSOX compliance standards.
