Senior Business Analyst – Asset Reference Systems

Location: Brussels (Schaerbeek), Belgium
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead digital transformation initiatives within the Assets department for a major energy sector client. This role focuses on optimising asset reference systems and supporting critical projects tied to renewable energy integration and process harmonisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Model and redesign business processes to improve efficiency and quality.
* Capture business needs and translate them into epics, features, and user stories.
* Develop business information models and validate functional analysis.
* Coordinate between business and IT stakeholders, ensuring consensus and clarity.
* Support UAT, training, and post-implementation adoption of IT tools.
Must-Have Skills:
* Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in process modelling and requirements gathering.
* Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
* Proficiency in BPMN 2.0 and UML Class diagrams.
* Knowledge of Dutch or French (plus English fluency).
* Experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira, and DevOps tools.
Nice-to-Have:
* Background in the electricity sector.
* Experience with asset reference systems and data migration projects.
