About the Internship
This is a unique 6-month internship designed for a motivated Master's graduate keen to dive into the world of crystallisation and powder technology. Based in Belgium, Aalst, you will be a key player in our R&D team, gaining hands-on experience as you collaborate with experts, both at the R&D facilities and in our factories across Europe, and see your work make a real difference in our operations.
What You Will Do
• Work at the heart of our Tereos Corporate Technology Center, supporting both short- and long-term R&D goals.
• Discover how innovative ideas move from the laboratory to the factory floor by participating in research and development projects focused on crystallisation, processing of agricultural products, and powder technology.
• Get hands-on with prototype development and product characterization using laboratory and pilot-scale equipment.
• Potentially travel to our factories across Europe, engaging directly with operational teams to implement and troubleshoot existing and new processes in real industrial environments.
• Collaborate with laboratory technicians: help define experimental protocols, plan and monitor tasks, and learn how to interpret results to drive process improvements.
• Contribute to a safe and sustainable laboratory and pilot environment, learning best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
• Leverage our internal and external technology network, expanding your skills and understanding of industry-leading techniques.

Who You Are
• A recent Master's graduate in chemical engineering, process engineering, food science, or a related field.
• Curious, hands-on, and enthusiastic about making things happen—not just in the laboratory but where it counts: on the factory floor.
• Eager to travel and work in our European production facilities, bridging the gap between research and operations.
• Ready to bring energy, ideas, and a willingness to learn into every challenge you take on.
• French understanding and speaking would be an advantage.
