Hays is seeking a dedicated Export Operations Specialist to support the export of critical medical devices, with a particular emphasis on cold chain logistics. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless, cost-efficient, and high-quality service delivery to our export markets.
Your new role
As an Export Operations Specialist, you will:
1. Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and managing the full Order to Cash cycle to meet customer expectations.
2. Conduct root cause analyses to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality within the supply chain.
3. Oversee order management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, resolving any discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution of temperature-sensitive medical products, ensuring adherence to cold chain requirements.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, Incoterms, and documentation to ensure compliance and reduce supply chain risks.
6. Monitor and optimize costs, with a focus on cold chain logistics efficiency.
7. Work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and regulatory agencies to align strategies and execute supply chain initiatives.
8. Track key performance indicators and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
Your profile
9. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
10. (Ideally) minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within export markets and the medical device sector.
11. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across teams and clients.
12. Knowledge of cold chain logistics is highly advantageous.
13. Familiarity with export regulations and documentation requirements.
14. Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
16. Experience working with Oracle or comparable ERP systems.
17. Language skills in English, French, and Arabic or Spanish would be a significant advantage.
