Your responsibilities as an European Finance Manager :
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis
* Lead local month-end close activities with a hands-on approach
* Ensure statutory, VAT, and tax compliance with external advisor support where required
* Manage intercompany reconciliations and contribute to group consolidation
* Maintain ownership of trial balance accuracy and balance sheet integrity
* Process or support journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations in lean local structures
* Collaborate with AP/AR and administrative teams to manage cash flow, collections, and payments
* Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in finance processes
* Build trusted relationships with local leadership teams as a finance partner
* Communicate financial insights clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Influence decisions and guide teams without direct authority
* Mentor and support finance professionals across Belgium and the Netherlands
* Foster collaboration, accountability, and performance in remote teams
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of finance talent as needed
