Product Life Cycle Manager Embedded Computing Systems

Are you passionate about shaping product roadmaps, driving operational excellence, and safeguarding performance throughout the entire product lifecycle? Join our customers' Embedded Computing Systems Operations team and play a key role in delivering high-performance solutions from introduction to phase-out.

In this role, you will continuously enhance product quality, manufacturability, cost efficiency, and supply resilience. Together with your product team, you ensure that every lifecycle phase is managed in a structured, predictable, and data-driven manner.

Responsibilities

You are the driving force behind multidisciplinary projects spanning embedded hardware, software, and system design. You take full ownership of planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment between internal teams, external partners, and customer expectations.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams, you coordinate all activities to deliver robust, high-quality embedded computing solutions that meet demanding technical and commercial requirements.

In this role, you:

* Lead a product team responsible for a dedicated product group and customer portfolio;
* Manage timelines, resources, risks, and budgets across multiple disciplines;
* Secure strong QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost) performance for your customer;
* Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external customers;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, designers, and quality specialists;
* Drive continuous improvement across processes, performance, and team development.

Department

Our customer designs and builds high-performance embedded computing systems that power the machines, tools, and devices of tomorrow. From real-time image processing to ultra-precise motion control, their solutions execute mission-critical workloads that enable customers to excel.

As a systems provider, they engineer the most efficient and reliable solutions for every application. Their Embedded Computing Systems (ECS) are developed and manufactured entirely in-house, from electrical design to low-level software, ensuring long product lifecycles, seamless interoperability, and perfect system integration.

What do you bring?

* BSc, BEng, or MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or Physics;
* 10+ years of project and/or product management experience across the full lifecycle (initiation to closure);
* Proven experience leading functional teams and fostering accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence;
* Strong understanding of systems combining hardware and software;
* Familiar with technical aspects of product development and stage-gate processes;
* Confident decision-maker who drives clarity and momentum;
* Strong relationship builder who creates trust and collaboration;
* Pragmatic and results-oriented, translating ideas into tangible impact.

If you are ready to take ownership of complex embedded systems and lead high-performing teams toward operational excellence, we would love to hear from you.
