Position Details

Title: IT Support Engineer Backfill

Location: Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium

Backfill support Dates: 15th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2026


📌 Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software/applications
* Work with OEM vendors for spare replacement, hardware repairs, and troubleshooting
* Provide EUC (End User Computing) support
* Manage IT inventory and assets
* Perform imaging of laptops and desktops
* Printer installation and management
* Support conference room issues and vendor coordination for setup
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
* Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets
* Support mobile devices and non-PC equipment such os scanners and printers
* Provide VIP support with high-touch service
* Manage AV / conferencing technologies
* Install and manage network/shared printers
* Provide Office 365 support
* Handle compliance software installation and troubleshooting
* Maintain strong communication with users and stakeholders
* Good knowledge of DHCP and DNS
* Coordinate vendor support and assist with procurement
* Support macOS devices
* Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
* Support meetings, events, and after-hours activities when required
* Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference

* L1 level network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity
* Hands & Feet support to backend teams for Network / Server / Application issues
* Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues
* Labelling racks and devices
* Server mounting / movement
* Hands & Feet support for Data Center environments (Compute, Storage, Backup, Network)
* Physical support for servers, network devices, and storage equipment
* Device reboot, console connection, cable/SFP removal & insertion, cable replacement
* Racking / stacking activities


📌 Important Note

* The backfill role requires onsite presence when the primary engineer is on leave or vacation
* Advance notice will be provided whenever your presence is required
* This is a long-term contract position
