As Aero Purchaser, you are responsible for initiating and following up purchase orders for aero parts based on internal needs and stock requirements, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. Your responsibilities as Aero Purchaser: Purchase Order management - Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP based on internal requests - Compare suppliers to optimize cost and delivery times - Communicate orders and terms & conditions to suppliers - Maintain and update item data in ERP when required Supplier follow-up - Monitor deliveries and ensure on-time supply of goods and services - Handle urgent requests and communicate updates to internal stakeholders - Identify alternative sourcing solutions when needed - Track supplier performance and contribute to reporting - Adjust MRP parameters and support inventory management Quality management - Communicate delivery discrepancies (quantity/quality) to suppliers - Handle credit notes or PO adjustments when required Collaboration - Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams - Maintain daily contact with internal (other shops) and external suppliers But what else?
