For our client, Galactic, we are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager, ready to travel and to develop the German, Austrian and Swiss markets.Using a sustainable fermentation process based on sugars and non-GMO micro-organisms, Galactic's technology helps reduce the carbon footprint of products while ensuring safety and quality. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the commercial potential of your assigned markets in alignment with the company's commercial strategy. You will define and execute local sales strategies, develop action plans and budgets for your countries, and implement these plans after management approval.
Balance and allocate sales activities between direct sales and distributor channels, securing strong agreements to maintain or improve Galactic's leadership position.Coordinate technical support follow-up with relevant internal teams.Maintain CRM reporting and prepare monthly sales statistics to monitor performance and market trends.
Recruit and select new distributors and agents through active prospecting, field visits and participation in trade shows.Negotiate pricing structures, contracts and budgets; Manage distributor networks, including training, seminars and performance-based activities.Oversee sales revenue and budget control, optimizing the company's commercial contribution.Professional proficiency in English and German.Experience with digital sales tools (ERP Navision, CRM, LinkedIn, Teams) and strong Microsoft Office skills.Basic administrative and accounting knowledge.Personal qualities: active listening, adaptability, competitive spirit, autonomy, organisation, solution-oriented mindset and team collaboration.
