We're looking for an
AI & Automation Lead
to drive digital transformation within a large, enterprise-scale technology organization.
You'll lead the modernization of global application operations, introducing automation, AI-driven optimization, and continuous improvement across critical digital platforms such as analytics, CRM, web, mobile, and talent systems.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role that combines vendor management, project leadership, and AI innovation in a highly dynamic, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the
inte
gration of AI and automation technologies across operational and support processes (incident management, predictive maintenance, service optimization).
* Identify, design, and implement process improvements using data insights and automation tools.
* Monitor performance and ensure SLA/KPI compliance for AI-enhanced workflows.
* Manage vendor governance, contract renewals, RFPs, and benchmarking activities.
* Oversee budget tracking, training compliance, and skills dashboards.
* Coordinate invoice review, audit readiness, and GxP compliance.
* Act as the primary interface for stakeholders and external partners, ensuring alignment across digital domains.
What are we looking for?
Must-Have Skills
* Minimum
5 years' experience
in enterprise digital technology environments.
* At least 5 years in service or project management, preferably in transformation contexts.
* Proven experience delivering AI or automation-related initiatives (not limited to IT infrastructure).
* Strong understanding of
automation frameworks and generative AI technologies
.
* Demonstrated experience managing large-scale vendor contracts.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
* Fluent in English; familiarity with
GxP
and regulated processes.
Nice-to-Have
* Background in the
pharmaceutical or life sciences
sector.
* Experience with
Power BI
and operational reporting.
* Working knowledge of
French or Dutch
for stakeholder interactions.
What do we offer?
Location: Brussels (hybrid)
Workload: Full-time (5 days/week; 4 negotiable for the right candidate)
Hybrid setup: Minimum 2 days/week on-site in Brussels
Contract: Freelance or Permanent
Duration: 1-year contract, renewable through 2027
