Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Principal Architect to be located in Beerse, Belgium.
As a Principal Architect, you will lead strategic planning, data integration, governance, and platform development to support ongoing research efforts and innovation in healthcare solutions. You will collaborate closely with Data Platform and Engineering Leadership, mentor teams, and ensure technological solutions align with business needs and industry standards.
Your responsibilities include designing scalable solutions, integrating security measures, developing high-performance data pipelines, staying informed about technological advancements, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
* Lead architectural vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and innovation.
* Design robust, scalable, and integrated solutions adhering to architecture standards.
* Simplify technical concepts for stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in.
* Collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams to align technical implementation with business value.
* Provide guidance on technology, data, and security strategies; mentor teams and promote best practices.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* At least 5 years of experience in Data product & platform development as an Architect or Tech Lead.
* Experience designing relational and non-relational databases, data modeling tools, and normalization principles.
* Full software lifecycle experience, including CI/CD systems.
* Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
* Experience with ETL processes and tools in Azure Stack and Databricks.
* Understanding of data governance, security measures, and privacy laws like GDPR.
* Skills in designing RESTful APIs for data access and system integration.
* Familiarity with machine learning concepts and analytics tools like Apache Spark MLlib or TensorFlow.
* Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA.
* Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
* Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience within technical teams.
* Experience in Data Products Implementation and Data Quality Frameworks.
