Senior Insurance Pricing Analyst - Retail Lines (Motor & Property)
Play a key role in shaping the pricing strategy for our Retail Motor and Property portfolios. In this position, you use data-driven insights to influence commercial performance, strengthen our competitive positioning, and contribute directly to the future of our P&C business.
Your Impact
As Senior Pricing Analyst, you are responsible for developing, improving, and steering pricing strategies that balance risk, customer behaviour, and market competitiveness. Working closely with underwriting, product, BI/analytics, and governance teams across Benelux, you translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations—all with measurable impact on portfolio performance.
What You Will Do
Pricing & Modelling
* Build, refine, and maintain pricing models for Retail Motor and Property portfolios.
* Integrate internal and external data (claims, segmentation inputs, benchmarking, risk indicators) into robust actuarial analyses.
* Evaluate price adequacy, profitability, and performance at product and segment level.
Portfolio Steering
* Identify growth opportunities, profitability challenges, and commercial optimisation levers.
* Deliver pricing proposals that balance statistical rigour with real-world business trade-offs.
* Support strategic pricing initiatives across the Benelux organisation.
Business Partnering
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Product, Distribution, Analytics, Finance, Governance).
* Prepare and present clear, actionable insights to senior management.
* Translate complex analytical work into understandable recommendations that enable confident decision-making.
What You Bring
* Experience in P&C pricing, actuarial work, or advanced analytics—ideally within Retail Motor or Property.
* Solid understanding of retail insurance dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive market drivers.
* Strong analytical and modelling skills combined with a business-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work autonomously while engaging effectively with stakeholders.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a strong asset.
* Curiosity for innovation, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics within pricing.
