Role overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead omics and bioinformatics product transformation in life sciences. You’ll manage software products that empower bioinformaticians, computational biologists, and genomics researchers, covering genomics, proteomics, multi-omics integration, single-cell analysis, and advanced data visualization. Your work will help scientists process massive datasets, gain biological insights, and accelerate discoveries.
What You’ll Do:
* Modernize legacy bioinformatics tools into scalable, cloud-native platforms
* Translate complex scientific workflows (WGS, RNA-seq, proteomics, multi-omics) into actionable product requirements
* Partner with bioinformaticians, computational biologists, and life sciences researchers
* Lead product development from requirements through delivery, ensuring scientific accuracy, performance, and usability
* Engage stakeholders, map priorities, and drive product strategy
Requirements:
* Strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and requirements documentation skills
* Agile product development experience; proficient with Jira/Confluence
* Deep expertise in bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, single-cell analysis, multi-omics integration, and data visualization
* Ability to bridge science and technology, translating complex research needs into scalable solutions
Preferred:
* Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Bioinformatics or related field
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, large-scale data pipelines, HPC, and batch processing
* Familiarity with GenAI/Agentic AI applications in bioinformatics
* Experience in regulated or pharmaceutical environments
