We are looking for enthusiastic Breakfast Attendants to strengthen our team in the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Ghent. Breakfast is the hotel's calling card - you ensure our guests start their day with a smile and a delicious meal. Are you customer-oriented, energetic, and do you thrive in a dynamic environment? Your daily contribution to a five-star breakfast
* You prepare the breakfast buffet mise-en-place and ensure everything looks tidy and inviting.
* You warmly welcome guests, guide them to their tables, and offer excellent service.
* You restock the buffet on time and maintain consistent quality of the offerings.
* You ensure cleanliness in the breakfast area and maintain tidy kitchen back areas.
* You assist with closing and tidying the buffet after the breakfast service.
* You collaborate closely with the kitchen team and report any special circumstances or complaints to your supervisor.
Who are we looking for?
* Experience in a similar role is a strong plus but not required — your motivation and customer-focused mindset are key.
* You enjoy early starts and are energetic in the mornings — willing to work from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, including weekends and holidays.
* You are able to work independently, but also thrive in a team.
* You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or English.
* You have an eye for detail and aim for high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* You are seeking full-time (38h) or part-time work.

Public transportation is also a breeze: tram and bus stops are within walking distance with smooth connections via De Lijn.
