IT Director – Central Europe
* Location: Germany, Belgium, Netherlands
* Travel: Regular regional travel across Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Türkiye
* Reporting: Reports to the CIO Europe – Securitas Technology
Purpose
The Regional IT Lead – Central Europe is the senior technology executive responsible for shaping, governing, and delivering a secure, scalable, and future-ready IT landscape across the region.
Operating as the regional technology authority and strategic partner to business leadership, this role ensures that technology capabilities directly enable sustainable growth, operational excellence, and digital innovation. The Regional IT Lead connects country execution with divisional and global IT strategy, balancing enterprise standards with local market needs and regulatory requirements.
This is a highly visible leadership position that drives transformation, strengthens governance, optimises investment, and fosters a unified “One Securitas” technology culture across Central Europe.
Major Responsibilities
Regional IT Leadership & Alignment
* Define and lead the regional IT strategy aligned to divisional and global technology direction.
* Shape and govern a cohesive multi-country IT roadmap that supports business growth, operational efficiency, and resilience.
* Act as the senior regional escalation point for critical technology risks, service issues, and strategic decisions.
* Represent Central Europe in global IT forums and influence enterprise-wide priorities.
Business Partnership & Value Realisation
* Serve as a trusted advisor to regional executive leadership, translating business priorities into scalable, value-driven technology outcomes.
* Ensure benefits realisation and return on investment across major programmes and technology initiatives.
Regional Operating Model & Leadership of Country IT
* Lead, coach, and coordinate Country IT Leaders across Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Türkiye.
* Establish consistent governance, delivery standards, and shared ways of working across the region.
* Empower country teams to build strong local capabilities while operating within a unified regional and global framework.
* Strengthen succession planning, talent development, and leadership capability across the IT community.
Transformation & Enterprise Programme Delivery
* Own the regional delivery of strategic IT programmes including ERP migrations, CRM evolution, operational systems modernisation, and broader digital transformation initiatives.
* Drive cloud adoption, infrastructure modernisation, and endpoint management strategy to ensure scalability and resilience.
* Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and with clear performance outcomes and adoption success.
Governance, Risk & Performance
* Embed robust IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection standards across all markets.
* Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise security frameworks.
* Monitor performance, risk exposure, and service reliability across the region.
* Drive continuous improvement in IT controls, operational maturity, and service management excellence.
Financial Stewardship & Vendor Management
* Own regional IT financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
* Ensure disciplined investment governance and prioritisation of high-value initiatives.
* Lead strategic vendor and managed service relationships, ensuring commercial value, performance excellence, and contractual compliance.
* Optimise the regional technology cost base while enhancing capability and innovation.

Education
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience & Knowledge
* 8–12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior regional or multi-site accountability.
* Proven track record leading large-scale ERP migrations, operational systems modernisation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity initiatives.
* Experience managing complex, multi-country IT environments within a matrix organisation.
* Demonstrated financial accountability including budget ownership and cost optimisation.
* Experience overseeing vendor ecosystems and managed service environments.
* Background within service-based, security, or operationally intensive industries preferred.
* Fluency in English required; additional regional languages advantageous..
