A large international financial services organization operating in a highly regulated environment. The organization is strengthening its security governance and control framework and is seeking a senior security professional to support the design, rollout, and embedding of transversal security controls across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and operationalize new security controls across application and software delivery processes.
* Assess current security capabilities, identify gaps against regulatory and internal requirements, and define practical remediation actions.
* Perform targeted security assessments on applications, processes, and technical components to validate control effectiveness.
* Provide expert security advisory to technical and business teams to support secure implementation and decision‑making.
* Collaborate with architecture, engineering, risk, and security stakeholders to support remediation and continuous improvement.
* Produce clear, structured documentation and reporting to support governance, tracking, and audit readiness.
Qualifications and Skills:
* 5–10 years of experience designing or implementing information security controls, frameworks, or governance processes.
* Strong background in security risk assessment, application security, or enterprise security governance.
* Solid understanding of security control implementation across complex and diverse IT environments.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate risk into actionable recommendations.
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Autonomous, well‑organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑evolving, high‑pressure environment.
