Mechanical Design Engineer – Superyachts & Racing Boats

We are looking for Mechanical Design Engineers to join teams working on the engines, drivetrains, and mechanical systems that power world-class superyachts and high-performance racing boats. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of luxury, engineering excellence, and extreme performance.
From concept design to installation and sea trials, you will contribute to bespoke, high-value systems where quality, reliability, and performance are non-negotiable.
The Role
* Design and develop mechanical systems for marine engines, powertrains, and onboard mechanisms
* Create CAD models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings
* Work closely with naval architects, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams
* Support prototyping, testing, installation, and commissioning activities
* Contribute to performance optimisation, reliability, and serviceability
Your Profile
* Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering
* Automotive engineering backgrounds are highly relevant, particularly for engine, drivetrain, or performance-focused experience
* Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar)
* Understanding of materials, tolerances, thermal loads, and high-power mechanical systems
* Passion for performance engineering and complex mechanical assemblies
