About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will oversee the execution of end-to-end logistics projects, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Oversee the execution of logistics projects from start to finish, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution, including operations, warehouses, and carriers.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate project performance using relevant tools and indicators, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with logistics projects and implement preventive measures.
* Communication: Ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders, sharing progress, issues, and proposed solutions.
* Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and propose solutions to increase operational efficiency.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that logistics projects comply with applicable regulations (safety, quality, environment, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in the field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in transport and/or warehousing operations.
* Proven experience in managing medium to complex projects, with a good command of project methodologies.
* Analytical profile with data- and fact-based reasoning.
* Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
* Curiosity, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn outside your comfort zone.
* Fluency in English is required.
