We are looking for a Site Engineer to join a major offshore AC substation project in the Netherlands!
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure technical consistency and quality during the critical outfitting phase of two 1050MW modules.
MAIN MISSIONS:
* Technical Expertise: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for electromechanical engineering queries on-site.
* Coordination: Align engineering teams with construction operations and support the management of site inspectors (welding, coating, E&I).
* Quality & Safety: Monitor control points, manage non-conformities, and guarantee a \"Safety First\" culture.
* Reporting: Analyze technical variants (cost/benefit) and produce progress reports for management.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Education: Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
* Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience (Offshore sector and topside outfitting experience are strong assets).
* Soft Skills: Structured mindset, quick learner, and excellent communicator within multidisciplinary teams.
* Languages: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
* Certification: Valid VCA VOL/SCC certificate required.
Location: Schiedam or Vlissingen (Netherlands) – On-site presence 5 days/week.
Start date: Immediate preparation for the outfitting phase scheduled for Summer 2026
