Job description :
The main tasks of a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer Indoor are to design, validate, and implement indoor wireless communication systems.
* Perform or validate (when received from external partners) radio planning & design Indoor of 2/3/4 & 5G radio access networks based on Indoor products portfolio.
* Initial antenna configuration design & approval of technical drawings.
* Provide feedback respecting the SLAs to the project requestor.
* Ordering of specific vendor radio equipment & definition of radio parameters with the final antenna configuration.
* Ensuring that regulatory standards are being met.
* Consolidation of all information needed to order the health report to ensure compliance of the design with the health norm applicable in the region of installation.
* Optimizing the performance of existing wireless networks.
* Validation of sites in terms of coverage and quality.
* Analyzing equipment and identifying areas for improvement.
* Communication of KPIs.
* Assure a perfect reflection of the access network configuration in the design database, adapting power as needed to align with the health report recommendations.
* Update project follow-up database.
Degree & Experience: Bachelor or Master degree as electrical engineer, telecommunication or similar, specialization in radio waves.
Technical skills:
* Knowledge of multiple radio access technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G).
* Knowledge of an RF planning tool such as iBWave, Atoll.
* Knowledge of Nokia hardware equipment & monitoring tool (NetAct) is beneficial.
* Ability to understand & analyze wireless network KPIs.
* Excellent knowledge of Office and database applications.
