What you’ll achieve
You’ll be engineering software for our next generation of CIS (Clinical Information Systems) and EPR (Electronic Patient Record) Systems, more specifically in the CPOE (Computerized physician order entry) domain.
Furthermore, you develop the framework, and the functionality for medical staff to order and follow up procedures in an efficient way, including clinical decision support in cooperation with the development team.
You will:
1. Be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications within a scrum team: the goal is to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements and enhance user experience through continuous collaboration and iterative development;
2. Function as 'right hand' of the architect it is the aim to guard that architectural requirements are implemented like intended and described and that the produced code can be automated tested. Collaboration with the architect and other team members is key for this;
3. Review codes, in accordance with the standards at hand;
4. Create and maintain technical documentation including software design specifications.

Essential Requirements
5. You have a bachelor or master in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent discipline.
6. You have (more than) 10 years of professional experience with software engineering (J2EE, Angular, SQL, …)
7. You are fluent in English (spoken as well as written) knowledge of German or French is an asset.
8. You are a teamplayer with strong architectural know-how.
9. You are especially interested in the synergy of business functionality and technology.
10. You are a dynamic problem-solver with a strong analytical mind.
