DEVENTIGO is an EU public affairs and business consultancy providing tailored, high-level counsel. Our clients include stakeholder associations, NGOs, companies and professional bodies across regulated sectors such as Education, Energy, Technology, Agriculture and Telecommunications. We are looking for a motivated Public Affairs Intern (full-time) to join our team. This is a paid internship, ideal for students in their final year of studies. Location / Modality This internship can be carried out remotely, based in Madrid or Brussels. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Support advocacy and public affairs workstreams (briefings, follow-ups, stakeholder mapping). Assist in the planning and delivery of advocacy campaigns, events, and visit programmes. Conduct political & regulatory monitoring and produce clear summaries (daily/weekly). Support community engagement across channels (emails, website updates, basic content management). Participate in daily editorial meetings and help coordinate the production and distribution of digital content across channels. Requuirements: IMPORTANT: French: bilingual or native level (required) — able to draft emails and short notes autonomously. English: strong professional level (working language). Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Solid user-level skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Basic understanding of EU institutions and decision-making processes. Education: Studies in European Studies, Public Affairs, Law, International Business, Political Science, or equivalent, with strong interest/knowledge in communication and social media tools; or Degree in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, audio-visual or related fields, with a demonstrated interest in politics and European affairs. Additional Qualifications: Hands-on knowledge of social media platforms and formats. Ability to create/adapt content using Canva and/or Photoshop, and native tools on Instagram/TikTok. A paid internship with real exposure to EU policy and stakeholder work. Practical experience supporting consultancy deliverables, campaigns, and events. A front-row view of European decision-making from Madrid or Brussels.
