My client is an innovative biotech company transforming immunopeptidomics into a powerful translational tool — supporting the development of safer biotherapeutics, high-quality vaccines, and novel targets in immuno-oncology. Their advanced mass spectrometry-based platform enables the identification of immunopeptides that trigger immune responses. Your role As Business Development Lead, you will be one of the faces of this company. You will play a central role in its commercial development and directly contribute to shaping its growth strategy. In practice, you will: Identify and qualify new leads by researching the biotech and pharma landscape, mapping potential clients, and reaching out to prospects across Europe and beyond Support the full client journey — from first contact and discovery conversations through to proposal coordination and follow-up Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals and tailored offers in close collaboration with the scientific team, ensuring each proposal reflects the client's specific research needs Develop market presence and strengthen positioning with biotech and pharmaceutical companies Be the first point of contact for clients, understand their needs and propose tailored solutions Represent the company at conferences, build the network and identify new opportunities Build lasting client relationships grounded in trust and expertise Work closely with the founding team and CEO to co-define current and future strategy Your profile A good scientific understanding combined with a genuine drive to understand and make a difference — that is what defines you. You are the right fit if you: Are able to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for a diverse audience — from R&D scientists to C-suite decision-makers Have a good experience in business development, sales, or account management in a life sciences, biotech, or CRO environment Have a demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities, build a pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term clients Are genuinely curious about market dynamics and able to identify how the competitive landscape shapes our product and service offering Are a natural people person who thrives on human connection and client interaction Are genuinely motivated by contributing to the development of safer medicines and immunotherapies Are curious and eager to learn: how MHC complexes present peptides, how this triggers an immune response, and what makes this technology unique Are comfortable in a fast-moving environment where your initiative has direct impact What my client offers A front-row seat at the frontier of science with tangible patient impact Real ownership and responsibility from day one Direct access to a team of passionate scientists and inspiring leaders — united by an uncompromising commitment to scientific excellence and a shared hunger to push the boundaries of what's possible.
