Business Analyst – Backend CDB (SQL / ETL / Salesforce / Conga) Location: Remote Contract: 12 months + extension Project Overview: The client is looking for a Business Analyst to support backend data‑related activities within a project involving SQL, ETL processes, and integrations with cloud‑based platforms such as Salesforce and Conga. The role will focus on understanding business requirements, analyzing data flows, and ensuring proper data integration between systems hosted in the cloud. Responsibilities: Gather and document business and technical requirements related to backend and cloud‑based data integration processes. Analyze existing SQL data and ETL processes used to load information into cloud platforms like Salesforce and Conga. Collaborate with data and development teams to define, improve, and validate cloud data flows and integrations. Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications. Support testing, issue tracking, and validation of backend data processes in the cloud environment. Maintain documentation related to requirements, data mappings, and process flows. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Analyst on backend or cloud‑based data integration projects. Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of ETL processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Salesforce and Conga from a data and integration perspective. Ability to analyze, document, and communicate requirements effectively across teams. Strong attention to detail and understanding of data structures and relationships. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to travel occasionally to Basel, Switzerland. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
