What you can look forward to as Project Process Engineer:
1. Act as a core team member in the NPI team and interface to the PE organization
2. Identify where global production standards for assembly can be applied and identifies gaps where new process standards need to be developed
3. Align with the respective process engineers (Global experts and plant responsibles) throughout the product development process to identify the correct process flow, routings, PFMEA, capability
4. Drive the co-engineering process together with the Design Engineers to come to a Design for Assembly solution to secure the assembly process in serial production
5. Challenge and monitor the assembly community, and is technical sparring partner for the process engineers
6. Execute the prototype building together with the Prototyping team as well as support the local plant on-site during the ramp-up for serial production and give advice about lessons learned during the prototyping phase
7. Drive efficiency by using standards and transparent communication tools and advises the management team on competence management / training requirements and global resource planning for the different PE Teams
Your profile as Project Process Engineer:
8. Engineering degree
9. Several years of working experience in assembly engineering in a project focused environment with relevant matrix team lead experience
10. Profound knowledge of assembly processes related to gearboxes
11. Solid project management skills
12. Knowledgeable on standard lean and quality tools (FMEA, T&M, …)
13. Working experience with SAP and MS Office
14. Proactive person with good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) with willingness to travel
