The Job:
Join Stanley Black & Decker as our Benelux Payroll Specialist and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across the Benelux region. As part of the GSS Stanley Black & Decker Payroll Team, you will be at the heart of daily payroll operations, working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to ensure a seamless employee experience. Reporting directly to the Benelux Payroll Lead, this is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about precision, service, and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the Benelux region, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes.
- Maintain and verify payroll data, time and attendance records, holiday balances, and employee absences.
- Prepare payroll payments, perform monthly checks, support reconciliations, and assist with year-end and audit activities.
- Generate payroll reports and respond to payroll-related queries from employees, managers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with external payroll providers, government agencies, and third-party vendors while supporting process improvements and documentation updates.
The Person:
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Benelux payroll processes (Belgium payroll knowledge is a non-negotiable)
- Good working knowledge of Joint Committee’s (Paritair Comité’s)
- Proficiency with SDWorx and HRBlox (required).
- Experience with ADP Globalview/Workday (a plus).
- Strong Excel skills (including vlookup and pivot tables).
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
