IntroductionAs Supplier/Customer Quality Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate all quality activities related to suppliers and customers. You will manage claims, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Acting as the main quality interface for external partners, you will collaborate with internal departments to strengthen supplier performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote continuous improvement.
Responsibilities1. Customer and Supplier Quality Coordination:• Oversee effective management of customer and supplier complaints and coordinate efficient solutions.
* Conduct product and process audits involving both customers and suppliers.
* Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive quality assurance measures.
* Lead, coach, and develop the Supplier/Customer Quality team.
2. Quality and Environmental Management Systems:• Plan, implement, and maintain the company's quality assurance system, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.• Prepare reports, analyses, and external audits to meet environmental and quality management requirements.• Work closely with other departments (production, maintenance, engineering) to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Product Quality Support:• Oversee the proper execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, including planning and monitoring of required tests for product qualification.• Supervise the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure all parts meet customer requirements and obtain necessary approvals.• Ensure proper organization of metrology activities, including execution of qualification programs for the automotive sector.
4. Production Quality Support:• Supervise incoming inspections, sorting activities, and in-process quality assurance.• Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
5. Cross-Departmental Coordination:• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment on quality objectives.• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may evolve according to departmental needs.
Profile
* A bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
* Proven experience in manufacturing and in securing vendor contracts.
* Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills/core-tools.
* In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
* Good working knowledge of quality control standards and government compliance.
* Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
* Excellent communication and liaison skills.
* Ideally fluent in at least two of the following three languages: French, German, and English.
