Building Maintenance Worker/Handyman
Your Mission
As a Building Maintenance Worker, you play a key role in the smooth daily operation of the Nivelles headquarters.
You ensure the general maintenance of the infrastructure of this site and intervene in a wide variety of technical tasks.
Your Responsibilities
Building Maintenance & Upkeep
* Perform routine maintenance work (small repairs, adjustments, finishing touches)
* Carry out painting, plastering, and minor renovation work
* Install or replace coverings (tiles, carpets, etc.)
* Install and fix wall elements (frames, equipment, signage…)
* Perform first-line plumbing interventions (leaks, unclogging…)
* Identify malfunctions and propose appropriate solutions
* Ensure rigorous follow-up of interventions
Outdoor Areas
* Participate in the maintenance of green spaces (mowing, cleaning, minor landscaping)
Support to the Facility Team
* Collaborate closely with department colleagues
* Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and good general condition of the facilities
* Be proactive in identifying intervention needs
Your Profile
* You have experience in a similar role or possess strong technical versatility
* You have good knowledge of general building maintenance (small repairs, painting, plumbing, etc.)
* Your key assets:
o You communicate clearly and effectively with your colleagues and various stakeholders
o You are precise, rigorous, and attentive to the quality of the work performed
o You have a good physical condition, allowing you to perform manual tasks and carry loads
o You are autonomous, while enjoying teamwork
