Multinational company
Group level Organization Development & Talent Management role
About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing multinational organization that places strong emphasis on talent management, talent development, succession planning, and organisational development.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal leadership role within a fast‑growing and highly dynamic HR function. As the company accelerates its regional expansion, you will serve as the subject expert overseeing organizational development, talent management, learning, performance management, succession planning, and the overall employee experience strategy and related policies. Operating within a lean yet high‑performing HR structure, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders and HRBPs to drive impactful people initiatives that support the organisation's continued growth. Your remit includes leading the full spectrum of organizational development activities, from change management, structural design, and workforce effectiveness to succession planning, high‑potential identification, 9‑grid calibration, and ongoing enhancement of the performance management framework. A key focus will be shaping and embedding the talent management agenda through clear processes, capability assessments, skill‑gap analysis, and the design of targeted upskilling pathways aligned with business needs. You will also oversee the development and delivery of learning programmes, including corporate onboarding, leadership development, coaching arrangements, and the annual L&TD roadmap. In addition, you will contribute to the formulation and implementation of HR policies such as promotion criteria, bonus qualification mechanisms, and the continuous refinement of organisational HR frameworks to ensure consistency, rigour, and long‑term relevance.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will bring 15-18 years of solid Learning, Organizational and Talent Development experience, with a proven ability to design robust frameworks, articulate ideas and influence key stakeholders at all levels. They must be able to secure buy‑in, drive successful implementation of strategies, and develop clear, well‑structured HR policies. You will demonstrate excellent leadership capability, refined interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, high‑pressure environment. Given the organisation's entrepreneurial pace and lean structure, the role requires someone with strong stakeholder management skills, sound commercial judgement, and the confidence to operate independently while influencing senior leaders across markets. The ideal candidate will be resilient, detail‑oriented, and highly results‑driven, comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and delivering high‑quality outputs under tight timelines. Strategic thinking, strong problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency in HR systems are also essential. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is required to ensure effective communication across a diverse regional stakeholder base. This position is best suited for individuals from large multinational or matrixed organisations who bring solid organisational development and change management experience, structured thinking, strong HRBP acumen, and the agility to build scalable, fit‑for‑purpose people practices within a demanding and rapidly evolving environment.
