Job Description
* Manage purchasing portfolio for fresh and dry categories (supplier panel, contracts, SLAs).
* Conduct tenders, negotiate pricing and conditions, and secure critical stock availability.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, IFS/BRC), traceability, and product specifications.
* Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering projects.
* Coordinate procurement planning with production and scheduling teams (OTIF performance).
* Monitor purchasing KPIs (cost savings, service level, non-conformities, lead times).
* Mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, seasonality, and market volatility.
* Support menu development and new product introduction projects.
* Utilize ERP systems (SAP) and data analytics for forecasting and reporting.
* Integrate sustainability and CSR principles into sourcing decisions.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Procurement, Food Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
* 2-3 years of experience in food purchasing (industry, retail, catering, FMCG).
* Strong knowledge of fresh and dry categories, seasonality, and logistics constraints.
* Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
* Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and advanced Excel.
* Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, IFS/BRC).
* Languages: French & English & Dutch : complete professionnal skills.
