Context
To support one of our clients in Belgium, we’re looking for a Production Officer. In this role, you’ll ensure the availability, compliance, and efficient lifecycle management of consumables, tools, and equipment across manufacturing areas—helping deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage consumables & PPE: Ensure availability, define stock levels, and coordinate purchasing. Monitor validity and set up regular checks for PPE.
* Oversee equipment & tools: Coordinate inspections, implement optimized processes for calibrated tools, and support preventive maintenance. Ensure accurate asset data in Service Max.
* Support operations: Act as the main contact for equipment needs, manage material transfers across sites, and coordinate CAPEX when required.
* Optimize processes: Lead improvements in packaging and handling for sub-assembly activities, including drafting technical specifications.
What We’re Looking For:
* Education: Master’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain (or equivalent). A Bachelor’s degree with solid industrial experience is also welcome.
* Experience: 5–8 years in equipment, tools, and consumables management within production environments (aerospace, automotive, pharma, or other regulated industries). Strong background in compliance, inspections, preventive maintenance, and logistics processes.
* Technical skills: Knowledge of PPE/tooling lifecycle management, calibration processes, preventive maintenance, industrial safety standards, and process optimization.
* Languages & tools: Professional English and French (written and spoken). Proficiency with ERP and asset management tools (SAP, Service Max).
* Personal qualities: Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. Analytical mindset, continuous improvement orientation, and the ability to coach and support operational teams.
