SALES ENGINEER - ANTWERP REGION (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION
We are currently recruiting a technically skilled and commercially driven Sales Engineer to join an employer in the Antwerp Region.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in electromechanical, mechanical, mechatronics, chemical, or related engineering disciplines, who can seamlessly translate complex technical concepts into practical, value-driven solutions for clients.
The Sales Engineer serves as the crucial link between engineering capabilities and customer requirements, ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound but also commercially viable.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be at the intersection of engineering expertise and client engagement, acting as both a trusted technical advisor and a proactive sales strategist. You will immerse yourself in the technical aspects of products, systems, and services, understanding not just their specifications but also their practical applications and benefits in real-world scenarios.
You will be responsible for guiding customers through every stage of the sales cycle, from initial contact, needs assessment, and solution proposal, to contract negotiation, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.
This requires close collaboration with internal engineering, R&D, and production teams to ensure solutions are feasible, competitive, and delivered to the highest standards. Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, systems, and services, including technical specifications and applications.

Support the sales process by preparing quotations, cost estimates, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new market opportunities.
Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring technical and commercial terms are clearly understood by all parties.
Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting in coordination with service teams.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or an engineering role with customer-facing responsibilities.
