Job Purpose: The Solution Architect will work with clients to solve business problems through the use of our world-class web deployed solutions. Will be ultimately responsible for the successful implementation and support of these solutions. This will be driven by the design, configuration and deployment of the Kofax product suite. This role is a Project Leadership position, leading both the client interaction and the system implementation. We strongly believe that this role is more fulfilling than traditionally segmented roles and provides our clients with a more efficient and value added project team. Solution Architects must have strong intellectual skills, a high level of enthusiasm and be very excited about providing great solutions to world-class customers. Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for the integrity of the solution design and development of assigned projects meeting the business needs of the client and following Kofax implementation standards Own resolution of technical and product issues on assigned projects from initial point of engagement through go-live of the solution Ensure best practices and consistent delivery approaches are utilized on assigned projects Provide input to Project Managers on project planning and estimating efforts for each assigned project Structure work and produce deliverables that align with the scope and budget of projects Structure and drive design reviews Communicate the risks and benefits of design/architectural options to an audience with diverse technical backgrounds Ensure all projects utilize development standards Participate in the development of solutions conceived, driven and owned by Consulting Services Create high quality solution design and design documentation Present, articulate and defend the design to clients Manage client expectations related to the design to reach successful client sign-off Conduct code reviews where appropriate Provide oversight to Consultants to ensure all project work is consistent with the solution design and Kofax implementation standards Provide guidance and mentorship to Consultants in technical and product knowledge Participate in identifying and creating re-usable assets to improve efficiency and consistency of delivery across projects in the areas of design, installation and migration Assist in business development in terms of solution definition scope and estimation efforts, where appropriate Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and align client thinking and agenda Strong written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills Ability to effectively navigate client's organization to facilitate the completion of project deliverables Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems using experience, creativity and sound judgment Understanding and application of basic project management concepts, i.e. scope management, issue management, schedule management and client management Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently Ability to understand the functional design and technical project requirements Excellent communication skills Good understanding of Cloud Based technology and containers including Azure, AWS, Google, Docker and Kubernetes Strong all round IT skills including SQL, .Net Development, Web, Mobile, Security, Infrastructure and Virtualization. Demonstrated understanding of agile and waterfall implementation methodolog ies Ability to design algorithms and code for efficiency and reuse Ability to explain and defend technical decisions to a technical audience Ability to understand and interpret complex technical documentation Able to assist in business development activities including supporting definition of scope and estimation. Ability to effectively interact with prospects in a business development situation Demonstrates ability to present the s olutions to multiple levels (CTO/CIO level, developer level, etc.) and areas (functional and technical) within a client organization Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget BS c /BA or equivalent work experience Ability to play a leadership role within the Kofax Project Team Understands the overall project plan and specific scope of projects Ability to see the big picture when making decisions and able to estimate effort for implementation tasks Demonstrates good judgment in making decisions MBA is a plus Existing Knowledge of Kofax products is desirable but not essentia l Languages - French, English, Dutch Required Experience: Five to Eight years of customer facing consulting experience 3-5 years of implementation experience Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: Financial Process Automation including: Design and implementing Accounts Payable automation solutions including a strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes Detailed technical knowledge of least one leading ERP solution such as Oracle EBS / PeopleSoft / OFC, SAP ECC / S/4 Hana / Ariba, Lawson, Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Ax, Netsuite, Co upa, Visma, at developer level o r higher Proven track record of customer success with at least one invoice extraction automation project such as Kofax, Readsoft, Brainware, OpenText, Abbyy, etc Document Automation including: Designing and implementing document automation solutions Detailed knowledge of the implementation and tuning of machine learning technology (AI) Proven track record of customer success with at least one document classification and extraction automation tool such as Kofax, Readsoft, OpenText, Abbyy, etc Process Automation including: D esigning and implementing process automation, case management and business process management solutions Proven track record in business process consultancy and improvement Strong experience in automation solutions including Robotic Process Automation, Workflow and AI. Proven track record of customer success with at least one business process automation tool such as Kofax, OpenText, Appian, IBM, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Kapow, etc
