Our client, a renowned international manufacturing group is looking for a high-potential Operations Manager to join its international operations team. This is a unique expat opportunity based in South East Asia, offering broad operational responsibility within a global industrial environment.The RoleAs Operations Manager, you have end responsibility for two manufacturing sites in South East Asia and Europa. Based in South East Asia, you lead the local plant managers with the goal of continuously improving the performance, efficiency and profitability of both sites.You act as an entrepreneur within the organization, constantly looking for opportunities to improve processes, develop your teams and strengthen the division's competitive position.Key ResponsibilitiesYou lead the Plant Managers of the sites in South East Asia and Europe and hold final responsibility for all operational activities (production, maintenance, technical services, CI).You ensure efficient and reliable production processes across both sites, with a strong focus on product quality and yield.You build on the existing zero-harm safety culture and ensure full regulatory compliance across both sites.You implement and embed a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement throughout the division.You develop the long-term strategy for the division, including identifying and substantiating strategic investment projects.You drive financial performance and profitability by optimising production costs and improving operational efficiency.You coach, mentor and develop the local management of both sites towards greater autonomy and leadership maturity, in line with the Unilin culture.You set clear annual plant objectives based on defined KPIs and ensure systematic performance follow-up.You manage relationships with internal stakeholders such as supply chain, R&D, sales and finance to achieve the division's objectives.Your ProfileMaster’s degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.Leadership experience in a complex, international manufacturing environment.
